In December 2017, Professor Ioannis Liritzis, now a Visiting Distinguished Professorat Henan University too, delivered a three day intensive course on archaeometric methods, such as Obsidian, the prehistoric ‘black gold’: dating methods and provenance studies, palaeoclimates and Astronomy, Archaeometry as added value to sustainable development, Disaster Geo-Archaeology, Luminescence dating in archaeology and geosciences.
